From 2016 to 2021, I was the Head of Development and Business Advisory Department of UzOman Private Equity Fund. During this period, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of a number of companies managed by the fund, as well as a member of the Advisory Board of the Capital Market Development Agency of Uzbekistan. From 2008 to 2015 he worked as a manager in a number of manufacturing and educational projects.

Shahboz has 6 years of experience in private equity in the manufacturing, financial and insurance sectors. He was a manager as well as a member of the supervisory board of such fund assets as insurance company (TYS), leasing company (Uzbekleasing), manufacturing (Binket, DKSS). Total assets under management were about $200 million.

Shahboz has extensive experience in closing M&A and PE deals as well as building working relationships with counterparties from different countries, cultures (from India to Canada).

In his most recent transactions, Shahboz has been responsible for advising clients on private equity and debt financing as well as structuring transactions.

Shahboz holds an Executive MBA from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a degree in Financial Investment and Risk Reduction from Bangor University.
